We read everything. We reply to most things. Corrections get answered first.

What to include, by message type

Corrections and out-of-date figures

The page URL, the specific number or claim, and what it should be — ideally with a source. Fees change, operators move machines and statutes get amended; we would much rather hear it from you than leave it in front of the next reader.

Reader questions

Tell us where you are in LA County, roughly how much you are moving, and what you are funding with — cash, card or bank. Those three facts determine most of the answer, and without them we can only repeat what is already on the site.

Operators and platforms

If we have described your product incorrectly, send the correction and a link to your own published terms. We will fix factual errors quickly. We do not accept payment for inclusion, placement or scores, and we do not take pre-publication review requests.

Press and research inquiries

Tell us your outlet, your deadline and what you need. We are happy to be quoted on the Los Angeles cash-to-crypto market, California DFAL and SB 401, and kiosk economics — and happy to say when something is outside what we actually know.

What we cannot do

  • Recover lost or stolen crypto. We have no ability to trace, freeze or recover funds. Anyone promising to is running a second scam on victims of the first.
  • Access your accounts. We will never ask for your seed phrase, private keys, passwords or account details, and you should never send them to anyone.
  • Give financial, legal or tax advice. We are a publisher and not licensed to advise. For real amounts, see a California-licensed professional.
  • Resolve a dispute with a platform or operator. We have no relationship that lets us intervene. Contact them directly, then the regulator.

If you have been defrauded

Report it directly and quickly — speed is the only variable that helps. Then read our safety guide for the full sequence.
